What is the “audition”?

Once you have submitted all of your voice recordings to us, we actually build a few different versions of your synthetic voice for you, because different people prefer different kinds of synthetic voices. The “audition” is a 3-step online guided process that allows you to listen to the different versions and ultimately choose the version you like best, along with a few basic settings (like speaking rate). We then package up the version and settings you chose and make it available for you to download. See here for a more detailed explanation.
